FHIR R4 API

The Netsmart CareConnect General Purpose FHIR R4 API exists to support a number of integration options leveraging the HL7 FHIR R4 specification. These options include but are not limited to:

  • ProviderConnect Enterprise which uses FHIR to integrate contracted providers with their health plan or managed care organization.
  • Pharmacy Integrations enabling pharmacies to look up medication request, allergies, and intolerances.
  • Referral Management allowing for the submission of service requests to a team of referral managers.
  • Bed Registry and Management relay bridging inpatient and residential EHR with bed management solutions.

Some of these resources were used previously to support ONC 2015 Certification. However, with the ONC 2015 Cures Update we have established a dedicated Certified API.
